There are two wildly popular tours in Iceland: the Blue Lagoon and the Golden Circle. They’re popular for good reason: the sights you’ll see are as beautiful as they are bizarre. And both are in close proximity to Reykjavík. But if you are interested in the road less traveled then try a bike tour, or sink your teeth into the island’s storied past with a Saga tour or a sightseeing tour around Reykjavík. If you’re no landlubber then leave terra firma behind with a helicopter tour (Iceland from the sky is breathtaking) or venture out to sea with a whale watching or puffin sighting tour.
