This might also explain why Icelanders are a bit obsessed with modifying their jeeps to eat up the road when it comes to this peculiar terrain. Most super jeeps ride on 38” to 44” tires, but some monster jeeps sport up to 55” tires. At that height, getting into the jeep becomes an outdoor activity in itself.
