The term guesthouse encompasses a wide range of accommodation, but in general we’re referring to apartments or rooms in a house. Some are self-catering while others offer full-service breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as maid service. Many guesthouses have a common area with shared facilities where guests can meet and mingle.
